Use in the chemical industry in general. As a refrigerant. In the manufacture of fertilisers, synthetic fibres, etc. Additive for cleaning products.

Identified uses:

• Industrial use of the substance, as such or in a mixture, for treatment of surfaces or items (e.g. metal, leather/textiles, plastics, wood, electronic/semiconductor materials, insulation, hardening, acid etchant).
• Industrial use as part of chemicals or other types of speciality products (e.g. adhesives, biocides, catalysts, cleaning products,
  corrosion protection, cosmetics, coatings/paints, de-icing/antifreeze products, insulation, inks, dyes, photochemicals, polymer preparations).
• Industrial use of the substance for reduction of NOx and SOx in combustion gases.
• Industrial use of the substance as a heat transfer fluid (e.g. cooling, refrigeration/heating systems).
• Industrial use of the substance as a chemical or process nutrient (e.g. pharmaceutical, food, biofuel industry).
• Professional use of the substance, as such or in a mixture, as a processing additive or reagent and for general chemical applications (e.g. corrosion protection products, pH/neutralising agent, transformation of manure into fertiliser, water treatment).
